SOILWORK Cancel DOWNLOAD Festival Appearance, DEVILDRIVER Step In

According to VirtualFestivals.com, SOILWORK's guitarist has suffered a vascular spasm, forcing the band to cancel their scheduled appearance today (June 11) on the Snickers Stage at the Download festival in in Castle Donington, England. DEVILDRIVER, who performed yesterday on the Snickers Stage, and whose singer Dez Fafara helped KORN out with their "issues," are stepping at the eleventh hour in to fill their slot.

SOILWORK are continuing to tour in support of their latest CD, "Stabbing the Drama", which is available on Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Figure Number Five" was recorded at Fascination Street studios in Örebro and Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO).
